new discovery

while sipping expensive tequila, i just discovered that one of my girlfriend's closest friends knows my mother...and grandmother...from 17 years ago...and in fact, has a very special place in her heart for both of them.

i (obviously) have a special place in my heart for both of them too...i think they're two of the most amazing women i've ever me. and this woman who is in my life through my partner, she thinks they're amazing and special too...and has been significantly influenced by them in her life. wow.

that's all i can say. wow. and yes. it's wonderful to have their wonderfulness validated.
